The Source
Our Calcium Montmorillonite is drawn from a high-grade deposit in the Mojave region — one of a limited number of true Calcium Montmorillonite sources in the world. The first deposit of this mineral was identified in Montmorillon, France in the 1800s. Ours carries the same rare classification: smectite group, negatively charged, crystallized through millions of years of hydrothermal activity.

Not All Clay Is Equal
Calcium Montmorillonite is frequently confused with Bentonite. They share a mineral family but are fundamentally different products. Bentonite is sodium-dominant, swells aggressively, and is used industrially as a sealant. Calcium Montmorillonite is calcium-dominant, bioavailable, and has a centuries-long history of agricultural and therapeutic use. We mine, refine, and deliver the diamond — not the coal.
